Sko-Die Invests in New Machinery to Increase CapacitySko-Die recently purchased a 121 Ton Seyi punch press, which increased capacity for single hit operations using compound dies. Automation will be incorporated in this process depending on the part mix run in that particular press. In addition to the Seyi punch press, Sko-Die also purchased a C20 Positech notching cell, retrofitted with 3 upper index spindles. Besides increasing the company’s notching capacity, this press will enable Sko-Die to run multiple O.D. size ranges along with a variety of smaller I.D. sizes with the different spindles.
Vision-Based Inspection System for Quality OptimizationAt Sko-Die, we capitalize on the latest technology available to support our entire Manufacturing process. In a world where 100% compliance to tight tolerance features is a minimum requirement, we have the capability to utilize Vision-based systems to optimize our inspection process. This, combined with the latest in Automation Technology and Integration allows us to cater unique solutions to any customer requirement.
