In this edition of the Sko-Die e-newsletter we will highlight our recently purchased and renovated 8,800 square foot building adjacent to our main facility. We continue to invest in the company to expand our overall efficiency and the unique value we provide to our customers.

We were also very proud to be recognized by the Precision Metal Forming Association as a 71-year member. Sko-Die has always believed in being active in the industry and supporting key associations.

In addition to our ongoing investment in our facility and machinery, we continue to invest in our people and grow our team. In this edition of our e-newsletter we will introduce you to one of our valued employees who is making a significant impact on the company and its success.

Sko-Die Continues to Expand Its Facility Footprint

Sko-Die recently purchased and renovated an 8,800 square foot building, adjacent to its current facility. The building will be used for steel storage, parts inventory, and long-term die storage. The new facility will play a key role in providing additional space that will positively impact overall operational efficiency.

Sko-Die Recognized as 71 Year PMA Member

Sko-Die recently accepted an award from the Precision Metal Forming Association, celebrating the company’s 71st year as an active member in the PMA.

Patrick Steininger received the award on April 13th, 2023, at the PMA Chicago Suppliers Night.

The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) is the full-service trade association representing the $137 billion metalforming industry of North America, the industry that creates precision metal products using stamping, fabricating, spinning, slide forming and roll forming technologies, and other value-added processes. Its more than 850 member companies also include suppliers of equipment, materials, and services to the industry.

Purchasing Manager

Mirela joined the Sko-Die team in November of 2021. Her lengthy career in manufacturing has consisted of roles in accounting as well as purchasing. In her current role as Purchasing Manager, she is responsible for placing orders for raw material and contractors, and supervising purchases made by other Sko-Die departments. She is an extremely effective resource in navigating the supply chain and ensuring material is available.

“Sko-Die’s manufacturing processes are very unique, and I am fascinated by the technical details. Our facility is clean and organized, and each and every employee is customer-focused and dedicated to manufacturing high-quality custom-made products. I truly enjoy interacting with the entire Sko-Die team and its suppliers and building lasting relationships.”

Mirela enjoys dancing, the outdoors, and traveling, and is mom to her 23-year-old daughter.
