Management Team
Eric Swanson
Eric Swanson recently joined the Sko-Die team in September of 2023 year and brings a lifetime of tool and die and stamping experience to his role as Project Engineering Manager. Getting his start in the industry working in his family’s shop, Eric then spent time in the early 1990’s as a young tool and die maker at Sko-Die for a period of time. His career then took him on a path with stops at several other manufacturing companies in roles as senior die designer and operations manager to name a few, developing his skills and knowledge base along the way. He also has a passion for teaching, not only the young tool makers at Sko-Die, but also at the Technology & Manufacturing Association where he teaches die design.
As Project Engineering Manager at Sko-Die, Eric works with personnel from all departments, addressing engineering challenges and supporting the team on the shop floor and in the tool room to help ensure all is running smoothly. His demeanor and diverse experience are invaluable to the company.
Eric and his wife have two grown children and are soon to be grandparents for the first time. In his free time, Eric enjoys looking for “treasures” at library book sales, ranging from biographies of presidents, to technical books, and book covering American history.
