PATRICK STEININGER
Patrick is the third generation President and owner of Sko-Die, Inc. While never pressured to continue the family owned business, he recognized early in his career that he had the vision and passion to lead an experienced and loyal group of employees into the future.
Patrick started at Sko-Die as a summer intern and worked full-time as he pursued his college education. He sought to learn all aspects of the operation and worked directly in I.T., Accounting, Purchasing, Quality, Production and Sales. In 2002, when his father Richard retired, he became president and set out to continue the growth Sko-Die had consistently achieved.
Patrick knows that revenue growth is the prime target for any company but it can only be achieved by making sure that every employee also grows personally and professionally. He makes sure that benefit packages are tops in the industry and training and continued education are part of every position. Growth is also achieved by making sure that operations has the best tools available. Patrick believes that reinvesting into the business for state-of-the-art production equipment is mandatory.
On Sko-Die’s dashboard Patrick sees all the signs pointing in the direction of continued success. Customer relations are strong and they represent diverse growing markets like oil patch, power generation, medical, food and aerospace. Investments in sales and marketing will develop new markets and customers. An experienced work force and lean manufacturing techniques assure on-time deliveries.
Patrick is a member of the 401(k) Retirement and Trust Committee for the Tooling and Manufacturing Association (TMA). Patrick serves on the PMA Board of Advisors and participates in numerous professional peer groups.
