Sandra Peterson
Sandra Peterson joined the Sko-Die team in late 2017 as a seasoned veteran of the stamping and electrical steel industry. She began in the role of Manufacturing Engineering Manager and then pivoted to the role of Quality Assurance Manager in early 2018. Sandra brought with her over 28 years of lamination industry experience and a wealth of proven success as a Manufacturing Engineer and Quality Manager. She began her professional career in the quality arena with a large independent lamination stamping company. In that role, she advanced from quality engineer through the ranks to earn the position of Quality Manager. She managed a state-of-the-art material testing lab, developed and managed material testing, and process engineering best anneal practices for a wide array of electrical grade materials. She headed up the dimensional inspection process and quality systems as well. Sandra developed test methods and specifications while sitting on the ASTM committee for electrical steels and earned certification through ASQ as a quality engineer and quality auditor and completed her Six Sigma Green Belt. Her unique set of skills in both quality management, manufacturing processes and electrical steel products made her a great addition to the Sko-Die team.
